Description

===2012===
--July--
The First National General Assembly meets in Philadelphia on July fourth with less than half of the required delegates. The body is largely ignored by the general public and met with disdain by man of the local Occupy General Assemblies.

--November--
President Obama handily defeats Republican Challenger Mitt Romney as the Tea Party clashes with the Republican establishment, and Americans elect fails to get on the ballet in California due to prohibitive nominating laws. Obama takes 43 states. The Democrats loose the Senate, but regain the House.

===2013===
---February---
Despite a Coalition Presidency, Congress remains in dismal gridlock, passing only the most watered down of bills that come to a vote. The National General Assembly once again fails to enact any noticeable petition to the government; and eventually collapses to ultra-left wing bickering.

---March---
One of the few moderate delegates to the National GA meets with Former Congressman Ron Paul to discuss the creation of a single grassroots organization that would unite the more moderate members of the Occupy Movement as well as the dying Tea Party. After meeting with leaders of the American Elect, Move to Amend, and leaders of the New York and Oakland GAs, the new group, "Campaign for America," is formed.

---July---
A Second National General Assembly is formed, easily meeting the required number of delegates thanks to wider support. The group drafts five new Constitutional Amendments to be submitted to the various, and growing, State General Assemblies created out of the OWS local GAs. The five Amendments are aimed purely at election reform, unlike the more radical proposals by the First NGA.

*Amendment 28: End of Corporate Person-hood, and eliminates private contributions to all elected officials, appointed officers of the government, and political campaigns.

*Amendment 29: Establishes Term Limits for Senators and Congressmen of no more than 12 years.

*Amendment 30: Establishes Instant Runoff Voting

*Amendment 31: Establishes Shortest Split-line Redistricting as the primary form of drawing Congressional Districts.

*Amendment 32: Abolishes the Electoral College.

--October--
Texas becomes the last state to ratify the Electoral Amendments. Many Congressman damn them as a threat to democracy.

===2014===
--January--
The Amendments go into affect after a number of attempts by Congress to overturn them; ultimately ended by a Supreme Court ruling and Presidential order to all government employees to honor the new laws.

--November--
All but 19 members of the previous Congress are re-elected; and no majority is left for the New Congress. America's first coalition government forms around the Unity Party (formed out of Americans Elect) shortly before the inauguration of the new government.

==2015==
--April--
The Center-Left Coalition passes a number of bills that have been collecting dust since 2011; including the DREAM Act, the Marriage Equality Act, the National High Speed Rail Act, and the Decriminalization of Cannabis Bill.
==2016==
--November--
The Unity Party candidate for President wins the Final Majority by the new Instant Runoff system.

If you end corporate personhood, you must also end corporate taxation and lawsuits against corporations. You can't tax or sue a thing; you can only tax and sue people. If your child got run over by a bus, would you sue the bus?
