A simple litmus test for determining which movement you support: which is too big and powerful, corporations or government? Personally, here's where I stand: they are both wrong. The government grows and shrinks with the necessities of the time, as does big business. Dictatorship will come to this country when one of these two radical groups grows more powerful than the other, wrecks the balance between corporation and government, and imposes either a corporatocratic or an orwellian-style dictatorship. I am against both sides and don't like in their entirety what either one is saying. You would be close-minded to say that you hated anything and everything about either movement.
Very interesting research and arguments. It really does show the division in America, and what morals or immorals are behind each side. This is actually what I expected more or less, and I am very happy to see that the tea party is much less popular than they are boasting. Also, how police do nothing about the tea party and attack as soon as a liberal gathering begins. Shows you who really controls this nation and who they support (or should I say, who supports them), dosen't it? deviantART muro drawing
Though I do find it interesting how some outlets try to overemphasize the "global" angle of the Occupy protests compared to the Tea Party...except that the largest and most concentrated were either in the US, the PIGS countries and Germany (i.e. Frankfort). The ones in say, Monaco, Switzerland, Russia, Japan, etc. were practically nonexistent.
And the one in Singapore is practically there for show. Also, in other parts of Europe, the numbers didn't even reach past the few thousands at most though that could be because of both government support and decidedly better social structures.
