A Different Revolution VI

The United States of America as it was a few years prior to the Civil War in 1860; set in the universe of "Our Revolution."

It is a time of great uncertainty in the United States. Having conquered a hemisphere more than two generations ago, unrest has become the norm and the military is stretched thin trying to keep the country together.

Utah remains a battleground between Souix and Mormon settlers, and the Panama region of the Nicaragua territory has become a hot-bead of rebellion.

In the Southern Continent, what was once thought to be the solution for America's largely ungovernable new territories has become the driving force behind many concerns for civil war. The autonomous states are a powder keg, and all that is needed to send the country into chaos is one spark.

In Europe, a Linconist-Owenist movement is gaining steam as economic stagnation at home and colonial rebellion abroad undermines the Crown and Parliament's authority. Opposite, France is experiencing a time of unhindered prosperity, and their allies in Finland Rhineland offer a level of security against the Tsar.
