A Different Revolution 1911 by YNot1989 A Different Revolution 1911 by YNot1989
It has been nearly a century since the Great American War, and the world is once again edging towards a battle between Empires.

In Europe France's dominance is finally being challenged by the Workers Alliance, a coalition between Austria-Hungary, Prussia, Denmark-Norway, and the British Worker's Republic.

In Africa, several revolts have caused the French Empire to loose one its prized territory on the Gold Coast, some speculate the United States sponsored the revolution.

In South Asia, India, Britain, and France wait to see where the first spark of war will begin.

In the Far East, Japan's conquests over the Pacific are stalled by the US backed Chinese Federation, and the Russian Empire.

And in America, President Theodore Roosevelt is arming his country for a war that will surely dominate the world.

I believe that the Philippines is a colony of America by 1900s. Then Mindanao is a part of Philippines not Indonesia.

The POD for this timeline is during the Revolutionary War. America never tried to colonize the Philippines in this universe.

Then Philippines would have been a colony of Germany.

' ... the Spanish–American War broke out in 1898, with the US in action in the Caribbean and the Pacific. A German flotilla, eight warships in Manila Bay, provoked the US Navy in the Philippines into firing warning shots but no damaging shots. Germany expected the US to be defeated by a guerrilla war in the Philippines and so they backed down from direct hostilities, electing instead to supply the guerrillas. However, by April 1899 the US had gained control of the Philippines, Guam, Samoa and Hawaii in the Pacific, and also Puerto Rico in the Caribbean.'

The problem is Germany doesn't exist in this timeline. It never formally united as a single country. There's Rhineland and Prussia which make up what we know (more or less) as contemporary Germany, but they're rival powers, one being a nationalistic rump state and the other being a French puppet.

Dang! The U.S. owns half the world. So does that mean that English and Portuguese are the official languages?

France, the US, and Rhineland make up the Atlantic Alliance; Britain, Prussia, Austria-Hungary, the Ottomans, and the Russians make up the Central Powers
China is allied with the US and France, as is India. And Japan is allied with Russia and Britain. (I got a World war map that goes into more detail.)
