A Different Prussia

Description

Since the birth of the Confederation of the Rhine and with it the Death of any hope for a united Germany, Prussia has been a state of perpetual instability or hostility.

Since the end of the Napoleonic Wars in Europe, the Kingdom of Prussia, like many of the Monarchies on the loosing side of that war, began to feel increased pressure from withing for reform. Using an endless series of conflicts with Rhineland as an excuse to maintain the monarchy, the Brandenburg Dynasty managed to hold onto power and keep revolutions down for a nearly a three-quarter century.

In 1883 the status que came to an end with the Lincolnist-Owenist revolution in Britain. While the British Syndicalist Revolution followed Lincoln's ideals of popular revolution through an electoral process, Prussia had no such system in place, and so in 1899 the Prussian people took power by force. Guided by Prussian Lincolnist-Marxism, which argued that violent revolution was an alternative for a popular revolt, the Prussian people threw the Brandenburgs out of power and formed the Prussian Workers Federation.

This radical Syndicalist state quickly joined the more democratic British Workers Republic in an alliance against the century old French-American alliance that dominated western Europe. With political reforms in Austria-Hungary where the Habsburgs surrendered legislative power to a Syndicalist Assembly the Workers Alliance was formed, ultimately leading to the World War.

What was supposed to be a great victory for syndicalism ultimately came to an end in 1924, and with it the PFW eventually collapsed. For a brief period in the 1920s Prussia was administered by a joint Rhinelander-American military governorship, known as the Prussian Free State.

By the late 1920s the country had home-rule returned, and the Republic of Prussia was formed. Much has happened since the end of the war, but by the early 50s Prussia has become an active member of the Council of Germania, working with former hated enemies to revive the dream of a united Germany.

The last one was incorrect, that's still a fascist eagle, due to the sword a lightning bolts, Prussia was abolished, and is now current Poland. Though Prussia can still exist.
